Sunday, August 5, 2018 - Opened with no decant, but gave it some air for about 90 minutes before diving in. Cork was perfect and was almost in better shape than a lot of younger wines. Color is a beautiful and radiant gold. Has aged very nicely. Nose is a deep honey- almost caramel in nature, along with orange rind and layers of minerals and stone fruit. Palate is overwhelming with a beautiful honey and spiced pear combination with an oily mineral undertone. Low acidity- typical of the region and varietal. Got better over the three plus hours. Just a fantastic wine.
