Saturday, September 29, 2018 - From 375ml, under screwcap. Light in color, and had a slight pop when I opened it. A little too cold when I first opened it, so nose was a bit muted. Once it opened up shows signs of d’anjou pear, nectarine and just a hint of a floral edge. This wine is also aggressively mineral on the nose, like fresh rain on concrete.

On the palate, mineral edge is strong on this wine. Dry with a Medium plus body, with medium acidity. A little heavier than I like my Riesling, but not bad. More orchard fruit as well, pears and ripe apples. This wine shows zero signs of botrytis, very clean. As it sits it really starts to come out of its shell; may be worth decanting this... Medium length finish.
