94 Points

Saturday, June 14, 2008 - Our first bottle. We were surprised at how accessible it was at this time. The nose was very traditional ChdP, but with only a hint of the barnyard. Under it was fruit and herbs, at least for us. We found it a medium wine, with, as someone else has said, elegance and smoothness but very traditional ChdP features. We are always struck at the fact he uses no wood whatsoever, so what you get is what went into the tank. Will hold up well, but surprisingly accessible. We loved it among our many ChdPs.
