Tuesday, October 16, 2018 - Pours a dense blackish - red to the stem. Inviting nose of rich dark berries, soil, cassis, and a refreshing floral quality. Very rich and satisfying on the palate, but almost pushed the envelope with a candied sweetness to the fruit. It might benefit from a few years horizontal to mitigate the fruit expression and shed the baby fat. This wine will be a crowd favorite for many.
