Wednesday, October 17, 2018 - Terrific nose - black and blue fruits and a ton of grilled meat. Same on the palate, along with a little pepper. In other words, it was a textbook syrah. However, it was a little flat, with negligible acidity and tannins. I suspect that it would have been a lot better a couple years ago. Cellar Tracker's "drink by" date is a little optimistic. I'd say it's time to drink up now.
