Sunday, November 4, 2018 - The cork crumbled when I tried to open, so had to decant. This is a very pale red wine, one that looks rusty at various points. The nose is terrific, carrying notes of leaf, smoke, cherry, earth, and slight spice. In the mouth, this is a higher acid wine but one overlaid with a nice caress and smoothness. The finish is crisp with elements of spice and flowers. Overall, this is a wine of distinction. It is delicious right now. 93 points.
