Monday, November 5, 2018 - A most enjoyable wine lunch (Eddie V's Prime Seafood McLean Virginia): This one grew on me. At first it seemed to be bit sour on the finish, a bit tight and sour and I was getting a hint of volatile acidity but that blew off after about 30 minutes if it was actually there. The oak driven tannins dry out a bit too much for me to get too excited, but there is no denying the ripe red and black cherry that inundates the excellent mid palate.
