Monday, March 9, 2015 - Very pale and thin raspberry red color. Nuanced, dry and tangy nose with vibrant and slightly wild aromas of crunchy cranberries, sour cherries, some brambly raspberries, a perfumed note of chinotto orange zest and a touch of chocolate chips. The wine is light-bodied, bright and crunchy on the palate with ripe, sweet raspberries, juicy red fruits, some succulent red cherries, a little bit of stony minerality and a touch of tart lingonberry. The wine is high in acidity with light tannins. The finish is quite long, juicy and ripe yet pretty tart with dry-ish flavors of sweet-toned red berries, crunchy cranberries, some tart lingonberries, a little bit of wild, perfumed floral character and a touch of sour cherry bitterness.

A nice, fresh and crunchy but ultimately somewhat simple, little Pinot Noir. Definitely from the lighter end of the spectrum, this wine feels a bit underwhelming on its own, although the bright acidity lends the wine some welcome freshness and intensity. Feels like it could definitely use some food. Overall a fresh and nicely drinkable but also pretty forgettable effort.
