Sunday, June 22, 2008 - Popped and poured at cellar temp. Initially quite reticent with raisin and prune notes, this took about 30 minutes to start to show its true colors. Quite ripe with a roasted edge, but this does show the soaring raspberry and white pepper notes I expect from this producer. Gorgeous ganache, some garrigue coming through as well. Still seems to want more time or a lot more decanting.
