Friday, November 30, 2018 - At first, when you smell it, you think the fruit might be over-caramelized...but then it resolves somehow into something tight and sweet-smelling. On first taste, it seems too round...but then the acids swell up just enough to support it, highlighting a palate with savory flavors and a touch of smoke. This wine is in a good place.
