93 Points

Saturday, December 1, 2018 - L. 1/18. I wonder if the story behind this is actually true. It's brilliant wine in any case. The nose is complex, with a bit of dried herbs, juicy red fruit, and a lovely dose of earth. The palate is generous and enjoyable, but also fairly complex, especially at the price. Very ripe and giving, but the earth notes are certainly reminiscent of the real deal. Plenty of tannin too, this will benefit from time. And if I'm correct, this is probably the last of an era.

12/11/2018 2:40:00 PM - I have wondered the same thing on their backstory. They seem to have hit all the high points for a cult, and yet I had not heard of them until a couple of months ago. But i did buy a six pack of the Rosso.
