Friday, December 7, 2018 - A Birthday Celebration (Taste 222 - Chicago IL): Small glass, brief note. Very old school. Fully mature red fruit with lots and lots of earth, mushroom, braised meat and background spice. Good weight, good+ balance and very good length. Very enjoyable, I'd just want/ expect a little more fruit and/ or density from such a good vintage Grand Cru.
