Friday, December 21, 2018 - Always a quality varietal from this venerable producer, this offering was more about the fruit and texture of the wine and less about the oak. Notes of lemon, tangerine, orange peel and lime on the palate with a vibrant, medium to full mouthfeel delivered on a backbone of peppered crushed gravel and crisp acidity. Very good QPR. Consistently enjoyable year-to-year.
