Wednesday, July 2, 2008 - This rocked for under $20. Black olive tapenade on the nose. The palate was like a gourmet salad with fresh spring greens, tapenade and some dried cranberries. This went incredibly well with pasta. Just enough acidity to do battle with the red sauce. I'm going to grab several more bottles to have on hand for those nights when you're feeling lazy and quickly cook up some pasta. Adding this wine turns it into an instant "nice dinner".
