Sunday, January 6, 2019 - Really fresh and stormy aromas with an amazing smoky feeling. When this has settled, appealing darker red berries come along with licorice and minerals. Slightly unbalanced flavors, though good. Pretty rich and quite powerful Clos Saint-Marc. Still, it is possible to preserve the wonderful freshness of the fruit with delicious redcurrant fruit and licorice. Pretty tannin structure. Long and good finish. Great wine. 93 points.
