Saturday, July 5, 2008 - Food pairing: Garlic Bread with Marinara. Smell: pear, apple, butter, little to no oak. Taste: soft acidity on the tip of the tongue, pineapple and kiwi fruit on the mid-palate, almost a hint of sweetness, fruit is pretty ripe and pleasing. Finish is smooth and lingering, but simple and unremarkable. Overall, very drinkable, but not complex at all. Label on front and back completely fell off in the wine cooler, only bottle of the 100 it holds with that problem.
