Thursday, January 17, 2019 - Moderate sediment. Decanted and rebottled three hours later. Notes taken on day two. Bright crimson color to the edges. Lovely nose of cherries, roses and cedar. Lively on the medium-bodied palate with flavors of cherries, strawberries, and licorice, and balanced by fine tannins. Medium-length finish. Overall, a delightful wine with a reasonable QPR at $50/bottle.
