Sunday, January 20, 2019 - Fairly closed aromatics compared to the other 11's in the flight, but you do get a sense of deep pitched, concentrated dark red fruit and black cherry. A bit sweeter than the Vietti Ravera, but also very compelling with concentrated dark fruit, along with good freshness and spice. A real treat to drink these two Ravera's side by side, with the Vietti squarely on the savory/traditional side, and the Cogno leaning modern.
