Saturday, January 19, 2019 - Really drinking well now. Becoming honey in color, nose is stronger pineapple and sweet jus of raspberry, with its great vanilla always there. Palette has really stepped up a notch and multi-layered. Once gain shows how keeping these sauternes to allow them to truly develop is well worth the effort. For a wine I paid only $30 for a half bottle it still amazes me how cheap they are. Sad for the winemakers that Sauterns are so lacking in global appeal - great for the few of us dedicated fans!
