Thursday, February 28, 2019 - For a second wine, I must say that this is clearly a cut from the same cloth as the king's robe. Its in limbo now with just a start of its secondary development, given the good bones of a 2005 Bordeaux. A nose of raisin and wood transformed into chocolate and coffee after a long exhale, followed with red plum domination and mild oak spice. But its missing the finish that would warrant risking what its's giving now in exchange for hopes of improvement over the long term. I would say that this will peak in 3 years for my taste and hold much longer. Very nice! Drink or hold
