Friday, March 1, 2019 - New Saumur Releases from Romain Guiberteau (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Of all 4 whites, this was the only one that was more Savennières than Saumur in its funky, wooly nose. Bigger and more glycerine than the 2017 Moulins with real Chenin texture. Some wood. No lack of acidity, but not as electric as the 2017 wines. I did not care for this as much as other vintages of the Clos de Guichaux.
