Soft, oily texture on the palate. Very round in the mouth. Acidity in good balance. Interesting to compare this to the great 2015; I may slightly prefer the 2015 right now, but this could certainly change in a few years. There is just a bit more acidity in the 2015, though the 2016 seems to be the rounder wine.
