Thursday, March 7, 2019 - This is in absolutely excellent shape. A relatively rich Volnay. It is very well integrated and balanced. Dark cherries, solid (but not overwhelming) minerals. Plenty of information around the edges of the tongue like a good burg does. Great mouth feel with a hint of that old world ‘sauvage’ but I mean that in a good way. Classic burgundy doing everything it is supposed to do.
