Thursday, July 24, 2008 - I thought this wine was fantastic - we opened at just over cellar temp and did not decant. We drank it slowly over the course of 3 hours with dinner and desert. The wine really opened when in the glass and warmed a bit - veggy (cucumber) and herbal notes along with dark fruit on the nose. I loved the balance and while keeping key zin notes like plum fruit and white peppar hint on finish I thought it had unsual depth and integration with other earth and sweet elements; medium-long finish.
