Community Tasting Note

Sunday, May 26, 2019 - A big boy, 15% ABV. The cork completely disintegrated. Pulling it was like trying to dig a hole in a sand dune. Mature appearance; on the nose a slightly burnt, meaty, oxidative character dominates; structurally the palate is intact, with a freshness which belies its alcoholic weight, but the flavours are quite light; ditto finish. Clearly an imperfect bottle. Not rated.
