Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - Purplish ruby in color. Aromas of blue, black, and dark red fruits, licorice, walnut, chocolate, cedar, and orange peel. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark and dark red fruits, mineral, and spice. Some drying tannins at play, but drinking fine w/ food. This was a leftover from a family gathering and I don't have any others, but if I did, I might sit on them for a year or two, based on this bottle. Overall, not bad; worked well w/ bbq chicken.
