Saturday, June 8, 2019 - Perfumed nose, aided by significant stem inclusion, with gobs of spice and raspberry. Juicy red fruit on the palate, lush texture, nice acidity for the vintage, but a bit of a clipped finish.

And it's amazing how many people, including journalists publishing tasting notes, detect new oak in Domaine de la Bongran's Viré-Clessé, which is fermented and matured in epoxy...
