Friday, June 28, 2019 - Quite simple aroma and flavor profile with primary aromas of ripe black berries mixing with strong secondary aromas of oak. Acidity and tannins are quite weak skewing the balance to the sweet side. Have not developed any noteworthy tertiary traits despite keeping for a few years (vintage 2013). Definetely a wine that is made'ready for consumption' the moment it comes out. Medium finish without further complexity. Had with grilled beef tenderloin with seemed an acceptable match.
