Tuesday, July 2, 2019 - PnP at a restaurant, and was ready after a few minutes in the glass. Very dark fruit profile, the tannins are resolved, and has medium body and acidity. It's fairly lean in texture, and the fruit has a bit of hardness (like I find in 05's), but has excellent structure and balance. Plenty of graphite notes typical of St Estephe, with a little leather as well. Overall, a fine example of mature claret, sophisticated, but not intense. Drinking well now or over the next 5 years.
