Likes this wine:

Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 13.5% alcohol. Very good cork, not that long but both dense and elastic. The colour is pale gold and very limpid. The nose is restrained, with yellow flowers and some sweaty aromas (in a nice way, believe it or not). Similar but slightly better in the mouth, with suggestion of honey and lively acidity in the finish.
Had this in parallel with the remnant of Barraud's 2013 Pouilly-Fuissé vv En Buland, and it would be hard not to conclude that the latter was the better wine at this stage.
I stopped buying the Chartron when the 2016 vintage crossed the 30€ threshold. At that price, they can keep it.
This vintage should improve over the next four years.
