Sunday, August 17, 2008 - lovely wine with outstanding QPR

Served with brunch (Spinach Frittata, Sausage Braid, etc) and it was enjoyed by all. In fact, between a nice Riesling, and a nice Sauvignon Blanc from the loire, this was the first bottle to get emptied.

Nose of sweet violets, minerals, strawberry and raspberry. Lively acidity and solid structure continually propel this wine to the forefront of domestic sparklers.

Drink through 2008, 12% alcohol, approximately $16
