Saturday, August 17, 2019 - This is a very expensive bottle and it pales against many of the wines I’ve had today. It’s not palate fatigue.

The fruit is nice, the balance, length, structure and tension are good. There is just no wow factor and there should be at this price point.

Blackberries, black cherries, strawberries, dark spice, crushed rocks, black licorice to anise, dry dark soil, volcanic minerals, dry herbs, mint-eucalyptus, bright red florals, good acidity with balance and polish on the long finish.
