This had a burning thing going on in my mouth. Massive berries on the nose , this wine is likely still young, we gave it 3 hours of air and it was OK/Nice. I would recommend 2x the air time.

Full of blueberry and blackberry, this lush and full wine has enough savory and oak notes to provide balance. Flavors echo and repeat several times in each sip...A knockout.

2 hour decant. Beautiful aroma of blackberry, black cherry, licorice, leather and violets. Layered and complex with black cherry, plums, mocha black fruit, leather, cassis and blueberries. Medium to full bodied with along finish with grippy tannins. Good now, but may improve over the next 5 years.

This is an amazing wine, my current favorite Schrader, we drank it against the old sparky a few weeks ago and in my opinion was better. Very complex and special.

Drinking very well right now. Agree with other posters that this is a very balanced wine. Strong blackberry notes on nose and palate. Tannins have smoothed out considerably with little left to age out IMO. Beautiful wine.

Drop dead gorgeous on a test pour straight from the decanter; silky yet bold after 4 hours. It gushes with blackberry and cassis fruit. This is a winner.

I really don't see what the hoopla is about these wines. They're expensive that's for sure. And perhaps they are better than your $100 Napa cabs, but this one was easily outdone by a 2017 Kinsman Rhadamanthus which I'm not even sure was ready to go just yet. Actually, a 2013 Spoto Private Reserve had more complexity at just about 1/2 the price. Definitely a deep, dark blackberry core here. Youthful, yet I wasn't really expecting much else. Some herb, but a bit unidimensional like the Bevan Tench that was also opened alongside this and the Spoto and the Kinsman. Black pepper finish and cedar oak tannin finish. This wine definitely has some growing up to do, but overall I'd say that where this one is going to be in 5-10 years will certainly be interesting to find out.

Bold aromas of blackberry, black cherry, licorice and violets. Complex flavors of cherry pie, plums, mocha and blueberries. Well integrated with grippy tannins. Decanted for 3 hours, but could have used another 2 before consumption. 30- second finish.

Very nice Schrader Cab, a bit on the young side so I gave it 6 hours of audouze and then 3 in the decanter, vibrant nose of black fruit and a hint of leather, slight heat and great depth of fruit and cassis on the palate, tannins present. Will no doubt improve with more age. Lovely wine.

Decanted and drank over 6 hours. Very dense red fruits, blackberry, flowers and herbs. Acidity is high and tannin still present. The finish is very long. This wine is still very young and will improve over the next 5 years. The wine didnt budge during the 6 hours in a narrow decanter.

This is a very expensive bottle and it pales against many of the wines I’ve had today. It’s not palate fatigue.
The fruit is nice, the balance, length, structure and tension are good. There is just no wow factor and there should be at this price point.
Blackberries, black cherries, strawberries, dark spice, crushed rocks, black licorice to anise, dry dark soil, volcanic minerals, dry herbs, mint-eucalyptus, bright red florals, good acidity with balance and polish on the long finish.

Dark ruby fruit - blackberry, currants, dark cherry, and dark raspberry. Really smooth mid-palate coupled with solid depth/concentration and a nice purity - medium plus body. Rich/vibrant flavors of dark berries, some spice, and a mineral/graphite component. Fairly long finish. Decanted for two hours and drank over a couple more. Improved a little with time but drinking well after the decant. Drank next to a 2014 Outpost True Vineyard cab and I would give a slight edge to the Outpost - similar quality of fruit but not as as rich/sweet as I tend to prefer. Enjoyable and approachable at this stage with a decent decant, however, I hope the fruit fills-out/adds some more weight with a little more time to get to that 98 rating from Parker. WA anticipated maturity 2016 to 2036. 100% cab.

Decanted for 10 min, rebottled for ride. Opened 1 hour later, drank over next 2 hours. Big & dense yet elegant & smooth. Dark berry fruit is there but a bit muted. Enjoyable now with a longer decant, or hold.

Decanted 2 hours prior to drinking. Big and robust but seems heavy handed and never very pleasing even on day #2.

Spectacular nose, legs and taste. Fully in balance. Wine of the night for all six diners against strong competition. Truly a beautiful California cab.
