Friday, August 23, 2019 - PNP into Riedel Montrachet glass (“Root” day): Medium golden to the eyes.

Reduction upfront that does not bother. Rich, slightly preserved citrus peels. Savoury, meaty, menthol and floral notes. Fresh but deep.

Laser sharp focus acidity that is perfectly judged. Highly mineral. Flavour concentration is very high with any hint of excessive fat. Finishes long and enjoyable indeed.

94-95 points.
