Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Consumed with Thanksgiving dinner, and my favorite wine of the evening. A nice nose, with definite notes of cherries and spice, which are followed on the palate by soft, silky cherry flavors, cinnamon, nutmeg, and enough acidity to keep the wine from being cloying or overbearing. Over the course of the evening, the wine just seemed to get better and better. I have a strong feeling I'm going to wish I had purchased a lot more of this.
