Friday, August 30, 2019 - Wow! I was never expecting a Syrah from Tuscany to score this highly. This had aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, wild thyme, lavender, a whiff of tobacco, this leads to a full-body and rich palate full of overripe dark black fruit, liquorice, anise, vanilla, crushed stones with polished tannins and lively acidity. The finish was long and elegant. Super impressed!
