89 Points

Thursday, September 5, 2019 - This tastes exactly like what I would expect an entry level Coonawarra cab to taste like. On day two (no notes taken on day one), nose is powerfully eucalyptus and jalapeno, with a hint of cassis poking through.

Palate is medium plus bodied, with a bit of tannin sure, but nothing terribly overwhelming. More pyrazine, more eucalyptus, earth and leather. Some red fruit, but it isn't in the foreground. It's not an incredible wine, but it's exactly what I was looking for.
