Friday, September 6, 2019 - Great match of bracing acidity and deep power. Loses a little - and only a little - elegance as a result. Strong lemon and brioche on the nose. Hazelnut, macadamia, lemon sorbet on the palate. Slight sweetness develops after the first blast of acidity. Krug is always a full force champagne but this is even more in your face than usual. Already fully developed, not going to improve.
