Wednesday, September 11, 2019 - This one is from Greece made from the Tsapournakos grape which is related to Cab Franc. Thought this was appropriate since we just returned from the Loire valley where Cab Franc is king.
Dark and inky this has aromas of black fruit and some old world earthiness. This is fairly dry in the mouth with moderate tannins, a bit light on the acid, fairly tightly wound, earthy with some hints of black and blue fruits. Probably could use a few more years on its side.
