Saturday, October 5, 2019 - Decanted 1 hour. Lovely nose of stewed raspberries, cigar ash, and tree resin. Very condensed and concentrated in the mouth. Starts off in the blue fruit zone but never goes over the edge into sweetness. Then settles into warmed red plums, more sappy resin, and some forest floor. Still somewhat tannic on the back but more-or-less integrated. Drink now or hold 1-3 years. Very fine.
