Monday, November 11, 2019 - Cherries cherries cherries! Both my wife and I had that reaction upon getting a first whiff and taste. Also that nice earthiness that you expect from a Barolo. More garnet and brick than dark purple or red telling me this wine is mature but definitely not past it’s prime. Was a fab pairing wife’s bolognese sauce and homemade tagliatelle �� I look forward to another bottle in the future.
