Wednesday, November 13, 2019 - In a flt with James & Carries '02 tonight. Both showed Corton terroir with minerally earth. This was the more robust of the two vintages and yet velvety, resolved and elegant. A tasty range of deep dark raspberry, spice, forest floor and minerality. This was less refined but its mouthcoating flavors were very compelling and impossible to ignore. A slight hint of VA but nothing to fret about. Great nose! 94pts+
