Wednesday, December 11, 2019 - Same nose after 2 hours as the Janzen MH.....too funny! Very different until that point in time with much less fruit up front. The one factor that drags this down a point or two is the weight in the mouth. It is distinctly lighter than the Janzen version...and the fruit/acidity is just a tad less striking. This is still a very, very good wine but it got bested tonight by it's vineyard mate from Janzen. Thanks again HMC for opening!
