Monday, December 16, 2019 - Medium garnet in color. A bit of game on the nose, along with some blackberry, thyme, sous-bois, and spice. Dry and silky on the palate. Medium acidity. I cannot sense over-ripeness but there is a note of kirsch. It feels fresh and weightless. The finish is herbal and of mid-length. Very nice CdP that has reached peak of maturity in great shape. It should be drinkable for the next handful of years. If you have any, I'd pop now.
