Friday, January 24, 2020 - 2nd tasting: While the bubbles are surprisingly large, the flavors are rich, toasty and smooth with dried apricot undertones. Much more pleasing the 2nd time around.

1st tasting: Not sure how this Champagne got its high scores. It's non-vintage, so the cuvée could change drastically from bottling to bottling. Mousse was large-bubbled, perhaps the largest I've seen in a Champagne in a long time, which dissipated quickly. Flavors were fine and somewhat toasty, but it seems as if this bottling was rushed to its completion way too soon.
