Thursday, February 13, 2020 - A really interesting wine. I'm becoming a huge fan of these wines. There is a creamed rock quality to them that I really love. That is, they can have a gentleness and roundness on the palate but with intense notes of crushed stone. This particular wine was dry but not severe with a saline and herbal density without being ponderous. The fruit is more from families of heirloom apples rather than citrus or peach. Very cool. I need to step up my exploration of these wines.
