Thursday, February 20, 2020 - 30 bday session at Maison Dakota. Drank over 2 hours. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with garnet rim. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of soaring red florals, pure red cherries, red apples, fresh earth. Developing.
On the palate, dry, bright high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet nicely ripe pure red cherries essence, red apples, licorice, fresh earth, light spice. Long finish.
Very good quality. Lacy, feminine and pure. Very much in the mould of a Chambolle. Great mouth-feel. Drinking a very good place now. Can still develop but I like it now.
