Wednesday, March 25, 2020 - Very solid, picking up weight and substance over several months. This wine is developing nicely. See previous notes.

3/25/2020 6:47:00 PM - I was disappointed in the 16 compared to the 14 and 15s which I thought were incredible. 16 for Scarlett was just not as full and complete of a wine for me. Then again the last 15 reserve I opened was super sweet. Hoping that’s just temporary.

3/25/2020 7:04:00 PM - We can never know how these wines will ebb and flow. For example, the 2013 Myriad Cabs were absolutely outstanding a few early in their release window. After about 4 to 7 years of maturity they took a turn and not to my likening. Personally, I believe California wines are built to be enjoyed young and if the are at a good drinking point, why wait.
