Sunday, March 29, 2020 - Cristom wines can be rough when young, but this is terrific. No decant. Slightly strong menthal on nose with sandlewood, forest floor, and red fruits. Palate is similar, but a barrage of powerful red fruit, which defies its age. No watered down strawberries here, this is amped up red fruit and actually could go several more years minimum, but very tasty now, though fairly one dimensional on palate.
