Sunday, April 12, 2020 - My last bottle of this delightful CdP drank with braised pork shoulder. Wow. This 20 year old CdP was truly outstanding. Very concentrated with herbs and spices, muted fruit and earth notes. Quite different from earlier bottles (drank 8+ years ago) with much of the fruitiness replaced by nuanced secondary flavors. Still plenty of backbone. Amazing wine. Drink or hold.
